FIELD OF APPLICATION i-CON 2V
The i-CON 2V is suitable for all SMT und PTH soldering tasks in electronic production, rework and R&D. The attachable tools allow a very flexible usage of the station depending on the current demands.

i-CON 2V
The double channel soldering and desoldering station i-CON 2V is a consistent further development of the well-known i-CON 2 based on the future-oriented AES Ersa VARIO platform. In addition to the present soldering and desoldering tools, the station can also drive the SMD desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO (2 x 40 W) and the PTH desoldering iron X-TOOL VARIO (150 W). The station utilizes an intelligent power management to shift dynamically its power between the at-tached tools. The i-CON 2V, like all other i-CON stations, convinces by its intuitive One-Touch operation and the large multifunctional display. The station meets the ESD requirements and is available in a version with interface to connect a fume extraction unit, a heating plate and a PC. If required, the i-CON 2V can be updated like the i-CON VARIO stations with a microSD memory card and thus is prepared for future necessities.

AES Ersa has re-engineered its well known and worldwide proven i-CON soldering stations and enhanced their functions. The i-CON 2V now comprise the control electronics, already implemented in the i-CON VARIO multi-channel soldering and desoldering stations. For operators multiple new features show up: The i-CON 2V can now operate the new soldering and desoldering tools CHIP TOOL VARIO and X-TOOL VARIO. The compact vacuum untit supplies vacuum for the X-TOOL VARIO or existing X-TOOLs. In addition, present AES Ersa soldering tools like the 80 W POWER TOOL can be connected to these stations. The change over from existing AES Ersa stations to the new i-CON becomes even more attractive. Totally, the i-CON 2V control units are able to drive eight different AES Ersa soldering tools. Moreover, this new control electronics is a next generation technology: Besides the intelligent power management they provide the micro-SD memory card technology. It allows to update the soldering station's software. Future soldering tools and additional functions can be used with the existing hardware. AES Ersa underlines with these soldering stations technological leadership for its customers benefit.

i-TOOL
The i-TOOL is an extremely lightweight but powerful soldering iron, accompanied by a wide range of beneficial AES Ersa long life soldering tips. 150 W heating power guarantee fastest heat up times and heat recovery. Process-window alarms, three energy levels and standby-sensor grant all i-CON-users an unrivalled process control in hand soldering.

CHIP TOOL VARIO
The desoldering tweezers CHIP TOOL VARIO is characterized by its compact design and 2 x 40 W soldering power. It is perfectly suited for soldering ap-plications with smallest SMT components. The plug-in pairs of soldering tips are precisely adjustable and easy to exchange. A switching element changes the tools operation from self-closing to self-opening mode. Its built in motion sensor activates the CHIP TOOL VARIO from standby.
